Since 2005, Jon Barrist has been combining his natural passion for real estate with nearly two decades of cultivated connections and his expert knowledge of business to navigate clients to their loftiest real estate goals. Whether buying or selling property, clients benefit from Jon’s highly educated and honest approach as he taps into his long-lasting relationships with other agents and professionals to secure successful closes while keeping all sides smiling. Jon grew up in Miami Beach, Florida before using his hard work ethic to obtain his Master of Business from the University of Miami. While working for IBM, he relocated briefly to Phoenix before a promotion guided him to Orange County. It was there that he recognized an opportunity to combine his people skills and business savvy with a career in real estate, receiving his license in 2005. The lion’s share of his career has been devoted to working for the same brokerage. In 2019, he moved to Palm Springs where he continues to serve his community with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Having been happily married since 2022, Jon loves spending time with his partner. Together, they enjoy seeing as much of the world as they can… especially when cruises are involved. When the occasion strikes, Jon also likes to try his luck at the numerous Palm Springs-area casinos!

Jon is very professional and detail-orientated. He stays on top of every detail of the transaction and helps in every way he can to make it a smooth process.I've used Jon in the past and it's amazing how quickly he responds to questions and/or worries. He is quick to give his ideas on placement/removal of items to make the home more appealing to perspective buyers before an open house. He was able to get me top dollar (higher than the past sales in the complex) for my home with his negotiation skills. My home sold within a week because he was quick to get professional pictures taken and listed before the open house, thus, making it a great turnout and not having to have another open house, which was more convenient for me.

Jon is the best! He is a caring, logical, compassionate person, and most importantly, he is a good listener. He understood what I was looking for in a home, and he offered great advice and suggestions according to my personal and financial situation. Not only did he help me find my dream home, he assisted with renovation questions and later helped me with leasing my property as a rental. He helped me transition from being a home owner to a landlord/investor. He knows a lot of service providers in the area, so if your new property needs some repair, you can quickly line up a cleaner, a painter, a plumber, a contractor, etc. immediately after your purchase. My family was new to the area, having moved here for a new job. We were anxious to find a place quickly but were still in the process of selling our home in Seattle. Not sure where we wanted to settle down, Jon helped us get our bearings and took us to see homes all over Orange County. Jon was very patient with us as navigated the options and finally honed in on the perfect home for us. 6 years later he helped us purchase our next home as well.
